Across Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training team all new colleagues are vetted and screened as part of our safer recruitment process to ensure suitability of all colleagues before joining the business. This includes: Pre-Screening with suitability checks against candidate with relation to if they have committed any offences against a child, and adult such as rape, murder or sexual assault, been disqualified or barred from caring for children, or vulnerable adults.
In addition to this we check Right to work documentation, if relevant conduct a certificate of good conduct if the candidate has stayed outside the UK for a period of more 3 months, or have moved to the UK after the age of 10years. Obtain 2 verified references, one from the last employer along with a Clear DBS. We always have sight of all original documentation, that is verified before processed.
