That’s why we are dedicated to helping our team members advance their skills and credentials, working closely with universities to create pathways for further study and qualifications. One of our initiatives involves helping colleagues who have completed their Level 5 Early Years Senior Practitioner Diploma take the next step by pursuing a Foundation Degree and Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
Fast-Tracking to a Foundation Degree with Anglia Ruskin University
For those who have completed their NCFE CACHE Level 5 Diploma for the Early Years Senior Practitioner with Aspire, we offer a seamless way to transition to a Foundation Degree in Early Years and Education. Through our partnership with Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), a leading provider in distance learning, colleagues can use their Level 5 credits to accelerate their journey toward a Foundation Degree, reducing both the time and workload needed for completion.
With this program, colleagues who have completed Level 5 are able to bypass certain modules based on their prior knowledge:
- They are exempt from two modules in the first year and one in the second year.
- If they also hold an NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator), they can complete the Foundation Degree in as little as one year.
This “top-up” option is a valuable opportunity for colleagues to continue building on the strong foundation of knowledge gained at Aspire.
