Colleagues Supporting Each Other

Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team has supported a colleague’s Just Giving efforts for chosen charity, Corpal, with a donation to help increase awareness of Complete Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum (ACC). Director of Early Years Quality Operations, Diane Wycherley, is taking part in several running events, including the Bournemouth Bay Run and the Southsea Park run, to raise funds for and increase awareness of this condition which is a condition her friend and colleague’s son suffers from.

At Tops and Aspire, we are proud to support each other and act as a support network for our colleagues. Diane Wycherley is a prime example of this.

As well as Diane’s efforts to raise awareness of ACC, Tops and Aspire are also supporting Sebastian by giving a generous donation to the very small charity ‘Corpal’, who are the only charity in the UK that support those with ACC.

This donation includes contributions from staff cross Tops and Aspire who choose to contribute monthly to the Tops and Aspire Employee Trust. This trust was set up to aid colleagues struggling through hardship, regardless of the reason why and a way for colleagues to support each other, and the community. This is part of the Tops and Aspire support network and has proven very beneficial to colleagues.

Cheryl Hadland, Managing Director of Tops Day Nurseries and Aspire Training Team said,

“I’m very proud that our company Trust, which combines donations from Tops and Aspire, and from individual staff, has been able to contribute to the Corpal charity, thereby honouring the concept of valuing and celebrating those who achieve their goals, whatever they might be”.

Tops Day Nurseries are one of the most sustainable day nurseries in the UK with over 30 nurseries across the South and Southwest. Tops and Aspire is an employer that keeps their colleagues at the heart of everything they do.
