  Essential Desirable
Qualifications NVQ level 3 or equivalent

 

Level 3 Forest School Trained

NVQ Level 4, Foundation Degree, Honours Degree, First Aid Certificate, Health and Safety Certificate

Car driver with business insurance

Experience At least 2 years childcare experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage

 

Being involved with Forest School sessions

Experience in running Forest School sessions
Knowledge and understanding Strong understanding of the EYFS

 

Aware of how to identify gaps in children’s learning and development

 

Maintaining accurate records of children development

 

Basic knowledge of health and safety

 

How to plan, prepare and deliver Forest School sessions

 

Monitoring accident trends

 

Effectively creating activities meeting the individual needs of the children and able to tailor these to ability and age

 

How to create a stimulating environment

 

Basic understanding of leadership and management

 

Good knowledge of Health and Safety
