GECCO – GREEN EDUCATION TO THE COMMUNITY COALITION

GECCO is one of our two charities, “the Green Early Years Choices Champion Organisation) is a charity whose purpose is to spread the word on why and how to be environmentally sustainable in our sectors.

GECCO was set up in 2017 by Cheryl Hadland. GECCO believe we can engage in activities with our children that lead to a more sustainable life. We can engage with our children in green awareness activities such as Reducing, Reusing, Recycling. There are lots of ways to do this and we like to add photos and videos and data sheets onto the GECCO website to share these ideas.

GECCO believe that investing in the education in our children is the most effective way there is to provide a sustainable environment into the future, and almost 30 years of experience in the day nursery field, and a passion to ensure we leave our environment fit for them to lead a healthy life. We ask for your support to share our good practice in this area with the whole community.
