Jo is the Health and Safety Manager at Hadland Care Group.
Jo joined Tops day Nurseries in March 2000 working at the Bournemouth nursery, work as a deputy manager and then part-time manager. This lead onto a relief manager position, supporting other nurseries throughout the chain. Jo has achieved her Level3 and 4 in Childcare and is now currently working on her Level 5 in Occupational H&S.
Jo is responsible for developing and implementing Health and Safety best practice across the company, ensuring the company complies with current Health and Safety legislation, approved codes of practice and guidance in relation to employment and service provision. Jo works closely with the Directors, Area Managers, Managers and Maintenance Team to proactively establish and maintain safe systems of work and a safe environment for colleagues and clients, advising on health and safety policy procedures as outlined by legislation and best practice procedures.
