Job description:

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join The Little Blue Door, at its Westhampnett branch as a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice.

At Little Blue Door we know wellbeing is vital for the health and development of little minds and we have kept this core to our design process throughout, to offer your child a healthy and safe environment to thrive.
Outdoor play and learning are a core part of life at the setting. Consisting of 5000 sq. ft of carefully designed spaces for your children to learn through play.

Your roles and responsibilities will include;

• Helping in the class room, supporting looking after the children
• Communicating with parents
• Help with planning
• Carrying out Activities
• Food prep
• Toileting
• Nappy changing
• Play
• Reading

Requirements;

• You must be able to obtain a clear DBS
• Good standard of English and Maths
• Experience in a childcare setting is desired

Hours;

• You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. With shift patterns that vary between the settings opening times of 07:15-18:00, Monday-Friday.
