Job description:

The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at The Nursery at New Manor.

The Nursery at New Manor is a forest school, consisting of 3 rooms and a garden area. The nursery has a lot of outside activities.

The nursery accommodates children aged 4 months – 5 years. 

We strive to ensure every child is happy, confident and physically active, and supported to become great communicators, whilst having lots and lots of FUN!

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• To support the team and provide general assistance to the qualified members of the stuff
• To ensure the personal care and needs of the children are taken care of
• Basic housekeeping duties
• Help at snack times

Qualities Required; 

• You must be someone who is happy to play and assist the children with their learning and development
• To be a team player and be able to communicate with the staff, children and parents

Hours; 

• The Nursery at New Manor is open from 8:30am – 17:30pm Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work 36 hours per week with shift patterns to be discussed

Requirements; 

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent, the successful candidate must have a good standard of education
• Candidate must be able to drive, as there are no transport links to the setting
