Job description:

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a passionate, reliable, enthusiastic and creative individual to join Alphabet Corner Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• You will plan for individual children's needs
• Provide a safe, stimulating environment for the children
• You will ensure nursery and safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
• Ensure children are well cared for, nurtured and kept safe
• Show a willingness to learn and be able to work alongside our SENCO and other colleagues

Requirements;

• Level 2 in Childcare is essential for this role 
• The candidate must have experience of caring for children in a nursery setting from birth and 5 years
• Ideally have some experience of working with children with SEN needs and English as an additional language
• Have a good understanding of children's development in Early Years
• All successful candidates will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check
• Employment records, references and qualifications will be verified
• To have experience with working in a key worker group

Hours;

• Alphabet Corner Nursery is open between the hours of 07:30-18:00 Monday-Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work a 37.5 hours per week and be flexible with working shift patterns.
