Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Alphabet Corner Nursery

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a passionate, reliable, enthusiastic and creative individual to join Alphabet Corner Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice.
Alphabet Corner has a higher ratio of qualified staff to children that exceeds the OFSTED requirements. Which means that our standard of childcare is consistently higher than most.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- You will plan for individual children's needs
- Provide a safe, stimulating environment for the children
- You will ensure nursery and safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Ensure children are well cared for, nurtured and kept safe
- Show a willingness to learn and be able to work alongside our SENCO and other colleagues
Requirements;
- Level 2 in Childcare is essential for this role
- The candidate must have experience of caring for children in a nursery setting from birth and 5 years
- Ideally have some experience of working with children with SEN needs and English as an additional language
- Have a good understanding of children's development in Early Years
- All successful candidates will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check
- Employment records, references and qualifications will be verified
- To have experience with working in a key worker group
Hours;
- Alphabet Corner Nursery is open between the hours of 07:30-18:00 Monday-Friday
- The successful candidate will be required to work a 37.5 hours per week and be flexible with working shift patterns.
