Job description:

The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Footprints Day Nursery.

Based in Burnham-on-Sea, near the seafront, Footprints Nursery care for children from 3 months to 4 years; offering beach school sessions and providing a lovely garden space for the children to explore their outdoor environment.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Key worker for a small group of children
• To carry out various duties
• Learning and education progressing
• Knowledge of EYFS
• Supporting with toileting and nappy changing
• Support with food preparation
• Helping the children with encouraging their personal hygiene
• Play based activities
• Keeping up to date with work /files on the children

Hours; 

• Footprints Day Nursery is open from 8.00am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
• The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Requirements;

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• Level 2 Childcare Qualification 
• Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
