The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Home from Home Worthing LTD.
Home from Home Worthing LTD is divided into 2 sections, the Babies and Toddlers, who enjoy a stimulating environment, exploring adjacent rooms set across the ground and first floor of the building. The setting serves a "home from home'' experience, ensuring the children's sleep routines are kept. Children aged 8 months to 2 years enjoy a high child ratio of 1:2.
The preschool consists of seven large rooms within which children can explore in familiar surroundings. Each room has a different emphasis and has been designed in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. Children aged 3 to 5 years enjoy a 1:6 child ratio from our staff, allowing the perfect balance for child-initiated learning and adult led opportunities.

Your roles and responsibilities will include;
- Working as a member of the team
- Be a key person to a group of children
- Observing and tracking children's development
- Leading parent's meetings
Qualities Required;
- Must have a positive outlook
- Must be friendly and warm
- Must be caring, motivated with a passion to learn, develop and train
- To have excellent communication skills giving daily verbal feedback to families
- Energy and bubble is definitely something we look for in our staff
Hours;
- The setting is open from 07:30-18:00 Monday to Friday
- The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 and up to 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.
Requirements;
- Level 2 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role
- You must be able to gain a clear DBS
- Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
- Experience working with children in a key person position is desired
- A good understanding of the EYFS
