Job description:

The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Pitter Patter Playhouse as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice,

Pitter Patter Playhouse offer a warm and welcoming environment with a calm and natural feel. The setting is made up of many different areas including a craft room/dining area, large playroom, bathroom, kitchen and office/sleeping area.
In addition to this they have a large enclosed garden including a music & water board, slide, playhouse, sandpit, construction materials, mud kitchen, natural resources and much more.

Our days will be filled with lots of fun activities and outings. This will include sensory play, arts and crafts, singing and dancing, role play and circle time. As well as regular outings to places such as parks, beaches, the woods, soft play, the zoo, the Eden Project and many more!

Your roles and responsibilities would include:

• Candidate must have a good understanding of the EYFS and what would fall under that
• Basic knowledge of Safeguarding
• To be able to deliver personal care, toileting and nappy changing
• Support with food preparation and general housekeeping 
• Undertake observations
• Be a key person, ideally support with planning and introducing new ideas

Requirements;

• A level 2 Childcare qualification is required when applying for this role
• Experience in Childcare is desired 
• Driving licence  
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent

Qualities required;

• Must be outdoorsy, and be able to participate in swimming
• Our ideal candidate will be someone who is caring, kind and supportive

Hours;

• The successful candidate will be required to work 35 hours per week and be flexible with working shift patterns between the settings opening times of 08:00-17:30
