Job description:

Dolphins Day Nursery are looking for a hardworking, dedicated and caring individual who will be required to work in a well-established nursery, to complete an Early Years Educator Level 5 Apprenticeship, working in a Room Leader position.

Dolphins Day Nursery are a Friendly, child focused nursery, based in a in a large Victorian house which has been converted to meet the needs of the children.
All rooms are well equipped to suit the ages of those using it and there is an outdoor play area too.

Full support will be given to gain your level 5 Early Years Educator Qualification and a permanent position may be available for the right candidate.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Take charge of a room
• Be an effective key person
• To take lead and provide support for other members of staff
• To lead and participate in normal daily routines and practice,
• Support in all aspects of personal care
• Understand safeguarding policies and strategies and to be accountable
• Promote and have a clear understanding of diversity and inclusion
• To take over planning
• Professional management of the room.

Hours;

• Dolphins Day Nursery are open between 07:30-18:00 are run all year round.
• The successful candidate would be expected to work between 30-40 hours per week and be flexible with working patterns.

Requirements;

• A level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
• A good level of English language spoken
