SENIOR NURSERY MANAGER 

Location: Our brand new setting, Tops Warminster

Salary: Up to £37,000 per year

Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week/Full time

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to join our brand new nursery as a Nursery Manager and help build a new team from the ground up. As a Nursery Manager, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for the children in our care. Your responsibilities will include supervising children to ensure their safety, organizing and participating in activities such as games, crafts, and educational tasks. The list of activities is endless, but you’ll understand that while some days might be challenging, you’ll also laugh, have fun, and make lasting memories with our children during one of the most important stages of their development!

In addition to managing our new nursery, you will also be responsible for overseeing our established nursery in Gillingham. This dual role provides a unique opportunity to bring your expertise to both locations, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for all the children in our care.

ABOUT YOU

A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required.

Some of the primary skills we are looking for will be someone will include;

  • Excellent communication skills, to engage with the children and converse with other staff members and parents
  • Creative skills and imagination to provide educational activities to children that can ensure the child is happy and learning in a rewarding environment
  • Positive outlook, to keep children happy and build an environment where children feel secure and rewarded.
  • Conduct interviews for potential applicants whom been put forward by the recruitment department
  • Developing and maintaining the nursery budget
  • Arranging marketing materials
  • Monitoring the condition of the facility and equipment and organising maintenance, repairs and new items as required
  • Updating parents and Carers about their child’s progress and behaviour
  • Answering enquiries about enrolment, payments and practices
  • Developing and implementing an age-appropriate program of annual events and activities
  • Preparing the nursery for Ofsted inspections and following inspector recommendations
