Joe Danks joined the Hadland Care Group team as an apprentice in the HR department and has now progressed to working as an IT assistant; a role he thoroughly enjoys and would not have considered had it not been for his apprenticeship.
“I applied for an apprenticeship as the idea was appealing to me; not only would I gain more knowledge into the careers and industry I would one day like to be a part of but also gain valuable hands-on experience in these areas,” explains Joe. “I chose Aspire Training Team to complete my apprenticeships with and they supported me throughout in my training, providing resources and guidance throughout. They worked with me on my abilities and understanding of each task, tailoring each scenario to my job role making it more applicable.
“Starting my apprenticeship was one of the best decisions I have made,” concludes Joe. “Working in the IT department as assistant to the manager is a great experience, I get to travel around the South visiting sites and learning a whole new industry at the same time. I would highly recommend an apprenticeship; it’s a great way to start your career.”
