Level 1 Maintenance Student
A level 1 student would shadow the maintenance team and get involved with activities based on their chosen trade, whilst gaining experience in other areas.

Maintenance Apprentice
As a Maintenance Apprentice, you will be working closely with a mentor and the Maintenance Manager to ensure that any painting and decoration requirements are met and maintained across all company sites to suit the needs of the children, residents and staff.

Casual Maintenance Assistant
Works with site managers to ensure that all premises and any equipment is maintained appropriately to suit the needs of the children, residents and staff. Liaises with the Maintenance Manager to appropriately prioritise which sites are needing work most urgently and acting accordingly.
Proactively checking sites for repairs, upgrades and masonry work and advising said items to the Maintenance Manager for inclusion in repairs and upgrades lists on company web as appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience

Painter & Decorator
As a Painter and Decorator, you’ll collaborate with site managers to meet painting and decoration needs across all company sites, ensuring a suitable environment for children, residents, and staff.
You’ll work with the Maintenance Manager to prioritise urgent projects and proactively inspect sites for repairs, advising on necessary actions. Additionally, you’ll report any requested projects to the Maintenance Manager for inclusion in the company’s project listings.

As a Seamstress you responsible for making items for the nurseries and care homes, as discussed with the Maintenance Manager and site Managers, to support the health, safety, comfort, happiness and development of children and residents in line with their own interests and skills.
Liaises with Managers to ensure that all premises and any equipment/items made are maintained appropriately to the needs of the children, residents and staff.

Maintenance Manager
As the Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead the Maintenance Team, overseeing daily maintenance tasks and prioritising jobs across all settings. You’ll assess and manage long-term projects, and provide emergency maintenance support when needed.
Your role includes coordinating with external contractors, ensuring essential work follows Health & Safety audits, and overseeing routine PAT testing across the company.

Commercial Director
As the Commercial Director, you’ll oversee initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and drive smarter business practices. You’ll manage supplier relationships to optimise purchasing and operations.
Collaborating with Department Managers and Directors, you’ll support purchasing, set financial targets, and assist with budget development and monitoring. You’ll also identify problem areas and work with leadership to implement solutions and advance company operations, including maintenance.
