At Tops age really is just a number, Yvonne shares her Tops story…

Yvonne started with Tops Winchester in 2016.

What brought you to Tops?

It was the ethos really. Tops is very caring, nurturing and welcoming. The staff were so friendly when I attended my interview, when I came out I knew it was the nursery for me.

What do you enjoy about your role as Level 3 Nursery Practitioner?

Working for Tops is wonderful and I love the variety of working with children, no two days are the same. Tops are really flexible and my colleagues are so supportive.

Tell me how Tops have welcomed you?

My colleagues have been wonderful, I’m well supported and we have fun too.

What training have you received?

I received initial training when I started and since training has been ongoing, I’m kept up to date with procedures, and it’s very interesting to be able to continue to learn.

So, would you recommend Tops to your friends?

Absolutely. Tops is a child led respectful family of nurseries with fantastic training who have a flexible approach to childcare.

What advice would you give to those 60 thinking about joining Tops?

Go for it, it is never too late to take a new challenge. Tops is welcoming and staff are welcomed at any age.

Look out for my next blog…
