World Health Day, held on the 7th April each year, is dedicated to promoting the benefits of good health and wellbeing worldwide. It was started by the World Health Organisation in 1950.
The World Health Organisation aim for us all to take action for a healthier tomorrow. They encourage us to walk, bike or take public transport, change to a renewable energy provider, avoid processed foods, stop smoking, buy less plastic and stop using plastic bags.
At Tops and Aspire we are always taking steps to become more sustainable to create a better world for everyone (did you know we’re B-Corp Certified?). The health of the planet is extremely important to us, that’s why we offer our employees the Cycle to Work Scheme. The company provides an interest-free loan of up to £1,000 to allow colleagues to purchase a bike and/or cycling accessories to use for work.
